St Bede's is a Voluntary Aided secondary comprehensive school for boys between the ages of 11 and 18. In its organisation, activities, curriculum and relationships the school seeks to reflect the life, teachings and values of Jesus Christ. |

St. Bede's has joined forces with St. Joseph's and Yorkshire Martyrs on a long term project to support education and well being in a village in Kenya.
The village is Marigat and our support will be fed through the local priest and a group of Franciscan nuns who are working there.
Every year in November St. Bede's Old Boys and students gather to celebrate Mass in memory of the 120 men from Bede's who gave their lives for their country along with all the other men and women lost through wars. It is their privilege to do this in company with surviving relatives of the boys.
On Tuesday evening (24th September) the Headteacher addressed a crowded hall of parents and Year 6 students keen to gain entry to the school next academic year.
